Introduction

PdfPilot24 renders documents with two engines behind one API: Chromium for HTML, URLs and Markdown, and LibreOffice for DOCX, XLSX, PPTX and ODT. PDF tooling (merge, split, rotate, watermark, encrypt) runs through the same pipeline.

You are billed per page. One credit equals one page of output. Failed requests are never charged.

What you get

• HTML, URL, Markdown and screenshot endpoints on Chromium.
• Office conversion with Indian language fonts pre-installed.
• PDF tools for post-processing: merge, split, rotate, watermark, encrypt and compress.
• Idempotent retries with a 24-hour replay cache.
• Portal with usage, remaining pages and credit history.

What we do not do

• We do not store your documents by default: payloads are never written to disk, and the rendered file is streamed back and discarded. When you send an Idempotency-Key, the response is cached in the database for up to 24 hours so a retry returns the same file, then removed by the retention purge.
• We do not offer a general PDF editor or e-signature in v1.
• We do not render pages behind a login — use html for private content.

Where data is processed

WebHost24 infrastructure in Palitana, Gujarat, India. Documents stay in the country. Only request metadata (endpoint, pages, status, duration) is retained for 30 days for billing and abuse investigation.
