How is a page counted?+
One credit equals one page of the generated PDF. A 3-page invoice uses 3 credits. Failed requests — validation errors, engine errors, timeouts — are never charged.
Do you store my documents?+
Not by default. Request payloads are never written to disk. Without an Idempotency-Key the rendered PDF is streamed straight back to you and discarded from memory. If you send an Idempotency-Key, the response is cached in the database for up to 24 hours so a retry returns the same file, then removed by the scheduled retention purge. We keep request metadata (pages, status, duration) for 30 days.
Where is the data processed?+
On WebHost24 infrastructure in Palitana, Gujarat. Documents do not leave India. That matters for DPDP, for client contracts, and for anyone who has been asked “where does this vendor store our invoices?”.
Do Gujarati and Hindi render correctly?+
Yes. Noto Sans Gujarati, Devanagari, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gurmukhi and Oriya are installed on the rendering image. Most international PDF APIs render these as empty boxes.
What happens when I run out of pages?+
The API returns HTTP 402 with code insufficient_credits and does not start a render. Upgrade the plan or buy a top-up pack. Top-up pages stay on your balance until used.
Can I use this from my own SaaS product?+
Yes — that is the point. Issue a key per product, set a monthly budget, and get one usage report. Internal WebGrow24 products share the same API with internal keys.
