Most PDF APIs render Indian scripts as empty rectangles because the container has no Indic font and no shaping rules. Ours ships with Noto Sans for nine scripts, so a Gujarati invoice looks like a Gujarati invoice.

Correct shaping
Conjuncts, matras and half-forms are shaped by Chromium's text stack, not dropped as separate glyphs.
Mixed scripts
English product names and Gujarati descriptions in one line keep their baselines and spacing.
Data stays in India
Documents are rendered in Palitana, Gujarat. Useful when a client asks where their KYC or salary data is processed.

Which scripts are included?+
Gujarati, Devanagari (Hindi, Marathi, Nepali), Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gurmukhi and Oriya.
Do I need to upload a font?+
No for the nine installed scripts. For a brand font, point to a WOFF2 URL in your CSS and it will be used.
Why do other APIs show boxes?+
Their Chromium image has no Indic fonts installed, so glyphs fall back to .notdef. Installing fonts is easy; remembering to do it is not.
Can I use Gujarati numerals?+
Yes. Convert numbers in your own code, or load a font that maps Latin digits to Gujarati forms.
