Introducing PdfPilot24

2026-10-154 min read

Every SaaS product eventually needs documents: invoices, receipts, salary slips, offer letters, reports, contracts. Most teams start with a brittle script — a headless browser on a forgotten VM, a wkhtmltopdf binary nobody dares to upgrade — and end up maintaining infrastructure that has nothing to do with their product.

PdfPilot24 replaces all of that with one API call. Send HTML, a public URL, Markdown or an Office file, and get a print-perfect PDF back in seconds. The rendering engine is Chromium with full Flexbox, grid and print-CSS support, so the PDF matches what you see in the browser. Office files go through LibreOffice with Indic fonts already installed.

Metered by the page, nothing else

One credit equals one page of the generated PDF. A three-page invoice costs three credits. Failed requests — validation errors, engine errors, timeouts — are never charged, and every response carries headers telling you the page count, your remaining balance and a request id you can quote to support.

Retries with the same Idempotency-Key are free, so a network blip never double-charges you. Bulk generation means looping the same endpoint; the retry rules stay the same at any volume.

India-first by design

We run on infrastructure in Palitana, Gujarat. Documents do not leave India, which matters for DPDP compliance and for every enterprise contract that asks where vendor data is stored. Billing is in rupees, invoices carry GSTIN, and the fonts your customers actually read — Gujarati, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil and five more scripts — are installed on the render image by default.

Your first 500 pages every month are free, with no card required. Sign in, copy a key, and send your first request — the quickstart guide walks through it in about two minutes.
